I was born and raised in Switzerland and left the country as soon as I turned 18 to go explore the world. I spent the next 9 years studying, working and traveling throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and India. I’ve always been attracted by the unknown and firmly believe that the best way to grow as a person is to being exposed to many different cultures, people, food, environments…
This same desire, to explore the unknown, is what attracted me to yoga. Every time I step onto the mat, it’s an opportunity to learn more about myself. I first came into contact with yoga in 2008, when my grandmother introduced me to a series of stretches to help alleviate back pain. From there, my practice rapidly evolved from simple stretches, to regular classes and self-practice until it had become an intrinsic part of my life. I was greatly influenced by the people I met and the places I visited throughout my time abroad and while my path is still unfolding, it currently includes meditation and holistic healing through sound.
I’ve discovered such joy through these practices, that they have now become my main drive in life. My objective is to spread “joie de vivre” throughout the world by helping people find true happiness within themselves.
I did a yoga class that contained a little part of sound healing. Honestly it's rare for me to find a yoga class that truly suits me. I loved the flow rhythm Forrest created, the variety and combination of movements as well as the balance between following his moves and being corrected by him. You can feel that he's been practicing for a long time and that he knows how to adapt to his students. Don't hesitate, try his class, you won't regret it!
